Founder Bruce Rogister, who has a strong background in carpentry, established Professional Design Group in 1995 and has been delivering outstanding service and design ever since.

While in his senior year of high school, Bruce operated his own construction company with numerous employees and responsibilities. By the time he turned 18, he was framing homes for several of the largest developers in Virginia Beach.

While maintaining his construction business, Bruce attended college with the goal of achieving his major in architecture. After achieving degrees in architecture and business management, he made the transition from drawing by hand to computer-assisted drafting in 1984. After earning a master level knowledge of AutoCAD software he taught college for three years to sharpen his skills and help guide good practice and procedures into those interested in it.

His strong background in architecture put Bruce in high demand among several prestigious architectural and engineering firms in the Virginia Beach and Richmond areas. This experience enabled him to build an expert team of highly qualified personnel and shape Professional Design Group into the company it is today.
